It all began in 1955 with the academic and profession journey of Dr. Mohamed El Adawy Nassef (1931-2015) in the field of Engineering Consultancy, where he invested his time and efforts to support engineering development. Dr. Adawy obtained his Ph.D. in Structural Engineering in 1961, In 1965, he obtained post-doctoral studies from University of Illinois – Urbana-Champaign in USA and worked as a fulltime professor of Civil Engineering at Santa Clara University and part time in Stanford University in California 1967.

Then, CEGMAN was founded in 1970. though our business has transformed and grown significantly, we remain committed to his spirit of excellency.

ABOUT THE CHAIRMAN

Dr. Wael El-Degwy is Chairman of CEGMAN since 2015 , bringing more than 50 years of experience in engineering consultancy, and academic leadership. His career combines distinguished academic achievements with senior executive positions, including Former Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Former Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University, and Chairman of several national educational and engineering institutions.

Under his leadership, CEGMAN continues to deliver innovative and sustainable engineering solutions for complex development projects.
